I’m back….again! The momma and I have been busy getting this site back up and running and we’re almost there! There are two things that I want to share with you today. The first one is gross and the second one is amusing!
First the gross:
Last week, the momma got a message from the owner of the doggie daycare. All she heard was
….Gringo….clean break….lots of bleeding….emergency clinic…!!!
She quickly called the daycare and was very relieved to hear that I was running around at daycare when the toenail on the outside of my rear foot broke off…completely! It bled like crazy and the daycare owner took me to the emergency hospital where they applied styptic powder and wrapped it up. As soon as the momma got me home, I began to take off the wrap. The momma ran out to the car to get the bitter spray….but she was too late. By the time she got back inside I had already removed it. It was no longer bleeding so she just sprayed on a little liquid bandage. She took some photos of it with her cell phone camera. The green arrows are pointing to the gaping hole where my toenail used to be, the yellow arrows are pointing to my foot pads and the top and bottom of my foot is indicated. They’re pretty crappy but I’ll show them to you just the same (but you’ll need to click on them to open – I didn’t want to spoil anyone’s appetite!):
The worst part of the entire ordeal is that I could not attend agility class that night.
